SCORE/3-D Printer Troubleshooting/New Arduino Class Announced!
School is in session and so is the MakerSpace! Come join us on Monday, September 17th from 7:00-9:00pm for our next installment of Maker Monday! The event will take place at our new Wooster Training Facility at:
5200 Cleveland Road
Suite D
Wooster, OH 44691
*This month's feature presentation is dedicated to SCORE, a nonprofit volunteer group that offers workshops and one-on-one counseling to existing and prospective small-business owners. Paul DeCapua, counselor of Youth Programming for SCORE, will give an overview of the company's programs and how they can work with the MakerSpace on future projects.
He will also give details about SCORE's first class in Orrville, which will take place on September 24th from 7:00-8:30pm at the Orrville Chamber Office.
*The second half of the evening is a call to all of our past 3-D Printer students. We've had some wonderful feedback on how people enjoyed the TEVO Tarantula build, but know there are some students still struggling with settings or construction issues. WE WANT TO HELP! Anyone who completed the Wooster or Northwestern Workshops or anyone that has ever done our 3-D Printer workshop is encouraged to bring in their machines. Our instructors will be on hand to help you through whatever issues you may be having.
*New Beginner's Arduino Course Coming Saturday, October 27th!
Our last Beginner's Arduino course filled in a matter of two weeks. A number of makers missed out on this course, so we're offering it again. Greg Barbu is ready to lead you down the rabbit hole of Arduino programming. We will have a sign-up sheet for the course at Maker Monday on September 17th. Make sure to join us and secure your spot.
